Haringey is a council name rather than a place. It is a 1965 respelling of Harringay, which is itself just the streets around Green Lanes. What people actually say is Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Highgate, Hornsey, Stroud Green, Wood Green, Bounds Green or Tottenham, and this site is written that way.

Crouch End News covers the whole borough, from the hill down to the Lea. The west and the east of it are very different places, and one council makes the decisions for both: what gets built, what a licence allows, where the controlled parking zones run, when the bins go out. Those decisions are published, and we go through them and report what they say with a link to the file.
